Green Bag Campaign, Shanghai, PRC

15 staff volunteers from our Shanghai office participated in a 'Green Long March' campaign to distribute green bags at the exit of the Lotus supermarket at Super Brand Mall, Shanghai. Volunteers distributed bags to shoppers by drawing shoppers over, and repacking all their groceries from plastic bags into reusable cloth bags. Volunteers also encouraged the passers-by to use less plastic bags and focused on explaining how and why plastic bags should be reduced. All plastics bags collected were returned to the supermarket at the end of the event.

Our staff explained to the shoppers the importance of environmental protection.		Helped the shoppers in repacking the groceries to the plastic bags.
